New Rules for Teaching in Dental Schools in the COVID-19 Era

The crisis caused by COVID-19 has led to the development of strategies for adapting undergraduate and postgraduate teaching dentistry new situation, as well guaranteeing safety all staff, students, patient s persons accompanying them.We reviewed a total 36 documents, including articles guidelines or recommendations issued dental schools, scientific societies other institutions, in order take stock current evidence available about impact pandemic on schools. Additional training is required management infectious diseases prevention their transmission. Dental schools must be prepared implement necessary measures according level infection risk during face-to-face activities, especially clinics, while quality allo wing research carried out. Adapting technologies essential non-classroom training, conducting questionnaires that collect information assessing stress faculty staff. incorporation both assessment reduces chances contagion enhances student autonomy. Distance learning competencies clear students included description academic programme. We not forget primary objective acquire skills f profession. More than ever, international cooperation universities elaboration protocols essential.
